Hello friends!
I've been so excited to share with everyone what the Lord has been doing in my life as I've been in an internship! If you didn't know what I was doing, I am currently a missionary with YWAM Lancaster! I am a part of a school called Catalyst Internship, where they train me more on leadership and discipleship. I've grown and learned so much as I am heading into the 4th month with this internship!
The two big outreaches of this intership is a Rally Tour and leading an international trip to Turkey or Costa Rica!
The Rally Tour was in May for 2 weeks! My team and I went to Baltimore, Maryland; Lewisville, North Carolina; Charlotte, North Carolina; Atlanta, Georia; and Savannah, Georgia. In this tour, we did events at every stop where we preached the gospel and saw over 200 rededications, we preached the great commission and saw a number of gen-z say yes to missions, and we evanglized in the streets of America where we planted seeds and saw salvations!
In July, half of my team will lead a team to Turkey, and the other half will lead to Costa Rica! We will lead groups of people from America to these wonderful nations as we are preaching the gospel and handing out Bibles! I am excited to say that I am leading to Costa Rica! My Costa Rica team and I are so expectant and excited to see our team of students going with us and learning about God in the nations!
This past month in June has been a lot of learning practical jobs behind missions. The behind the scenes missionary life stuff! Some of this stuff is learning how to lead teams, how to disciple, how to build a ministry development plan, how to dream with God and put action to it, how to budget and build partnerships, and trusting God and His provision in all of this! June has also given me a week of going back home to my family and intentionally working and praying on these practical things while hanging out and catching up with family and friends!
Going forward in missions, God has given me direction on my next steps after internship! I am excited to announce that I will be joining YWAM Lancaster's staff team this upcoming fall! I am estatic to join this team of people that feel like family and goes after the heart of God as a whole! This community has taught me so much already and I am honored that God has brought me to be added in this amazing bunch! Joining staff will help me build experience, knowledge, get biblical understanding, tranistion into international missions long-term, and more! The first year of staff will look like setting up a 2 month rally tour, doing the rally tour, and preparing & staffing a DTS!
Prayer Requests:
Going into July, I will be in Costa Rica for 2 weeks!
Pray for my team mates as we lead in unity, peace and love together! Pray for the students that they would have the boldness to preach the gospel! Pray for salvations, healings and miracles. Pray for open doors to different ministries into Costa Rica!
Financial Provision!
As I join staff, I will need the Lord to provide monthly partners who will give into my life as I work towards fulfilling the great commission! Pray that the Lord will send monthly partners, so that I can continue to work for Christ! Also, I'd encourage you to pray if it's the Lord's will for you to partner with me and how much! I also need a new car, as my high school car is sadly breaking down. Pray that the Lord will provide a new car by time I go into staff!
