Catchin' up

Hello friends! This past month has been a season of transition and growth. If I could describe this month in two words it would be; growing pains. As I transitioned out of internship with YWAM Lancaster, I came to Ohio to build partnerships. What I didn't know is that my family would be out of town for 2 weeks and I would be growing in praying fervently, growing in my hunger for the Word, and learning how to be content in solitude.

Honestly, it was a hard month. Being away from friends and family, as an extrovert. I had to learn how to be content with just Jesus and me. I had to learn how I can be intentional with close friends being long distance. I had to fight the temptation of loneliness. I've also had to learn how to build partnerships as I'm transitioning into being a full time missionary, which requires faith and killing pride as I ask people to be a source of financial income in my life.

Through all the hardships, I have learned mostly how to be poor in spirit (Matthew 5:3). I've learned how to become fully dependent on God in every area of my life. I believe the Lord was teaching me how to be physically alone and be content with just Jesus. This is because I am a missionary to Japan. A place where under 2% of the people have relationship with God, the rest of them believe in other gods that don't exist. It might feel a little lonely, being almost the only Christian in a place. (Thank you Lord for discipline, Hebrews 12:12-13)!

Going forward, I am believing in God for $2,300 a month in financial partners as I head back to YWAM Lancaster as full time staff on October 6th. This past month I was able to go back to Lancaster for staff training and meetings on what my year will look like! I am taking responsibilities in the media team, prayer and worship, and rally tour!

Media

I get to serve in the media as the point person behind YWAM Lancasters blogs, newsletters, email marketing, and helping the social medias.

Prayer and worship

I will be facilitating Monday morning prayer sets! I will also do the lyrics on Friday mornings and Thursday nights.

I am so excited to say that I am co-pioneering with my friend, Micheal, and a team of people with us for the YWAM Lancaster's Prayer room!!

Rally tour

This January, a team of us will go around North East America on tour! Where we will spread the gospel and rally my generation, Gen-z, to go to the 10/40 window and spread the gospel themselves! I will also be joining the team this February as we take the tour to team with a ministry of Lancaster called Unrestricted, having conferences and services in high schools.

I will be joyfully serving YWAM Lancaster as these roles, starting October 6th! All of my roles the Lord is leading me to do, help me gain experience for when I am in Japan! I will learn how to plant houses of prayer and worship, grow in media (Japan loves media), grow in

administrative skills, I will also be working with the youth and how to love them the best! I am excited and ready to see what the Lord will teach me in this season!

Prayer Points

• Financial partners!

I am still believing God for more partners to join in with me in what He is doing in Japan! Pray that God would open those doors to people who want to see the great commission fulfilled! I also encourage you to pray if you are one of those partners that God wants to use to fill the great commission!

• Transition!

Pray that God would give me the grace to learn all my roles tasks easily and I'd have wisdom and understanding to serve with joy and excellence! Pray that God would provide peace and grace as I move out of Ohio and officially live in Lancaster.

• A new car!

I currently have a car that is living on the edge of life. Pray that God would provide what I need to have the perfect car that will help me in my last years in America.
